As a matter of fact I was talking to a friend about the show last week.
The Saturday Night Live Band with Paul Shaffer opened the show with John Belushi as the emcee. That in itself is a memory!
Then Levon and his band came on and put on a great show! Levon, Dr John, Paul Butterfield, living legends to say the least. Most of this band went on to form the Blues Brothers and starred in the Blues Brothers movie, also well worth checking out.
Again, thanks Levon for making this available.
This show will always stick in my mind as one of the best!
