Frequently Asked Questions and
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR RAMBLE
GUESTS
I purchased tickets online and on the evening of the show one person could
not make it.
Can I get a refund?
There are no cash refunds on Ramble tickets, however you may use the unused
ticket for another show or you may use it towards merchandise.
Do you serve alcohol?
Alcohol is NOT made available by Levon Helm Studios. If you bring alcohol
or a cooler, they need to be kept in your cars. We have zero tolerance for
intoxication. If you or any member of your party appears to be intoxicated
and/or becomes disruptive or loud, you will be asked to leave by cab at your
expense. We’re all about the music and about respecting Levon’s home and
property. We encourage a fun,
clean, family atmosphere. Levon Helm Studios accepts no responsibility and we
will not refund ticket money to those who have been asked to leave.
Is food and drink allowed in the studio?
No, we do not allow food upstairs in the
studio. Again, this is because we want to show respect for Levon’s personal
residence and we don’t want any distractions during the show. We do, however,
allow water and plastic cups upstairs during the show, but ask
that everyone be cognizant about spillage. HOLD ONTO YOUR CUPS or WATER
BOTTLES and please don’t
place it on the floor or on the railings. Please dispose of your garbage in the
receptacles provided throughout the studio so that “Team Levon” isn’t here until
the wee hours of the morning, cleaning up. Much like State Park regulations, we
ask you to abide by the rule – “if you brought it in, please bring it out”.
I have a RV and would like to spend the night in the studio's parking field.
Sorry, we have no facilities for RVs and our insurance forbids camping out on
the property.
Gates open at 7:00, show starts at 8:00 and gates close at 9:00. What do we do
if we get there after 9:00?
Should you get to the studio after 9:00 and the ticket booth is closed, come
into to the studio and advise any of the Helmland security people and they will
help you. All attendees must be wearing a pass.
Are photos
allowed?
You may take photos outside, but photos are forbidden in the studio. You
will not be allowed in with a camera. Please make sure your cell phones are off
and do not open them during the show.
Are we guaranteed a seat?
We have limited seating
available, first come, first serve. Your reservation is for the show,
not for a seat. Doors open at 7:00, be there by then and you
will have a great chance of getting a seat.
We have a band and would like to record
at Levon Helm Studios.
Go to the studio page and fill out the
contact form.
May I send a CD to Levon to listen to?
Can I send him items to be autographed?
Levon Helm Studios cannot be responsible for
unsolicited items sent to us. We receive voluminous requests and it’s become
impossible to accommodate everyone.
I'm a musician and would like to sit in
on a jam session.
Sorry, The Midnight Ramble is not a jam
session and the shows are planned in advance with Levon and the band members.
How can I stay up-to-date with what's
going on at the studio and when?
Subscribe to The Levon Helm Studios Newsletter.
Can tickets be purchased from sources other than Levon Helm
Studios?
NO, Midnight Ramble tickets are sold ONLY by
Levon Helm Studios. Tickets purchased elsewhere WILL NOT be honored.
What should I wear to the Ramble?
Dress casually and comfortably. You will be
parking in a sparsely-lit field so leave your best shoes home. This is
Woodstock – be comfortable!
