Frequently Asked Questions and
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR RAMBLE GUESTS
Can tickets be purchased from sources other than Levon Helm
Studios?
NO, Midnight
Ramble tickets are sold ONLY by Levon Helm Studios. Tickets
purchased elsewhere WILL NOT be honored.
What time should we get
there?
As of 2/1/12 Gates open at 7:00pm, (not before) and show
starts at 8:pm.
Should you get here before 7pm you will be asked to turn
around and come back at 7pm.
We need to get trucks and equipment down the driveway and it
can't be blocked. DO NOT park along Plochmann Lane,
waiting for 7pm gate opening. Respect our neighbors as we
do, please.
Are we guaranteed a seat?
All ticket sales are for general seating unless otherwise
stated. Once seating is sold out we will sell
"Standing Room Only Tickets" (same price) and it will state
that in the shopping cart prior to your
ordering. At times you will be prompted to call the studio
to order "Standing Room Only Tickets".
We do not have handicapped section, however the this section
is available for wheelchairs ONLY. Please contact Tony
(tony@levonhelm.com) or Geanine (geanine@levonhelm.com) one
week before the Ramble you will be attending.
What is your
Cancellation Policy?
Please be advised, any Ramble tickets purchased for shows as
of February 1, 2012 will be final! There will be NO REFUNDS,
TICKET SWITCHING or RAIN-CHECKS. You may exchange your
ticket(s) toward merchandise ONLY. All canceled or switched
tickets prior to February 1, 2012 will be honored.
Can we bring our own chairs?
Absolutely not, we have very limited space
available.
May I have Levon's
autographed at the Ramble?
Sorry, no. It would not be fair to all the other
people at the show and it would also interfere with his
performance.
Are photos/cell phones allowed?
You may take photos outside, but photos are
forbidden in the studio. You will not be allowed in with a
camera. Please make sure your cell phones are off and do not
open them during the show.
Are children allowed and how much are tickets?
Children are most welcome...
For regular Midnight Rambles: 12 and under 1/2 price, 2 and
under free.
For special Rambles: Full price for all. You will see "no
comps" or "no guest list" for these special shows listed on
our schedule.
Tickets for children can be purchased by calling The Studio
at 845-679-2744.
Is food provided at The Rambles?
No, we do not serve food. However we encourage
everyone to bring food or a side dish for our community
table for all to share. It's lots of fun!!
Do you serve alcohol?
Alcohol is NOT made available by Levon Helm Studios. If you
bring alcohol or a cooler, they need to be kept in your
cars. We have zero tolerance for intoxication. If you or
any member of your party appears to be intoxicated and/or
becomes disruptive or loud, you will be asked to leave by
cab at your expense. We’re all about the music and about
respecting Levon’s home and property. We encourage a fun,
clean, family atmosphere. Levon Helm Studios accepts no
responsibility and we will not refund ticket money to those
who have been asked to leave.
Is food and drink allowed in the studio?
No, we do not allow
food upstairs in the studio. Again, this is because we want
to show respect for Levon’s personal residence and we don’t
want any distractions during the show. We do, however,
allow water and plastic cups upstairs during the show, but
ask that everyone be cognizant about spillage. HOLD ONTO
YOUR CUPS or WATER BOTTLES and please don’t place it on the
floor or on the railings. Please dispose of your garbage in
the receptacles provided throughout the studio so that “Team
Levon” isn’t here until the wee hours of the morning,
cleaning up. Much like State Park regulations, we ask you to
abide by the rule – “if you brought it in, please bring it
out”.
I have a RV and would like to spend the night in the
studio's parking field.
Sorry, we have no facilities for RVs and our insurance
forbids camping out on the property.
We have a band and would
like to record at Levon Helm Studios.
Go to
The Studio link on the
web site and fill out the
contact form.
May I send a CD to Levon to
listen to? Can I send him items to be autographed?
Levon Helm Studios
cannot be responsible for unsolicited items sent to us. We
receive voluminous requests and it’s become impossible to
accommodate everyone.
I'm a musician and would
like to sit in on a jam session.
Sorry, The Midnight
Ramble is not a jam session and the shows are planned in
advance with Levon and the band members.
How can I stay up-to-date
with what's going on at the studio and when?
Subscribe to
The Levon Helm Studios Newsletter.
What should I wear to the
Ramble?
Dress casually and
comfortably. You will be parking in a sparsely-lit field so
leave your best shoes home. This is Woodstock – be
comfortable!
If you still have
questions email geanine@levonhelm.com
or
tony@levonhelm.com
and they will
be able to help you.
